Study in Ireland

Courses, visas and part time work, mapped.

This session maps the student route end to end: choosing a course that actually earns Stamp 2, the funds and insurance evidence, the work concession, and the ladder from study to the Stamp 1G graduate permission and a work permit.

It is for students planning the move and students already here.

How it works

The route at a glance

1

Pick an eligible course

Full time, on the ILEP or a TrustEd Ireland provider list. Nothing else earns Stamp 2.

2

Show funds, fees and insurance

Living funds, paid fees and private medical insurance, evidenced the way the rules require.

3

Register and work within the limits

20 hours a week in term, 40 hours a week in the set holiday windows.

4

Plan the ladder

Stamp 2 to Stamp 1G to a work permit, mapped before the course even starts.
